Description
Syphilis Rapid Test (Treponema pallidum)
The test cassette is used to detect Syphilis in blood by identifying antibodies to the bacterium Treponema pallidum.
The kit includes: test cassette, pipette for blood collection, sterile lancet for puncture, alcohol pad, liquid buffer.
Delivery and Anonymity: The test is available for order with delivery to all settlements in Moldova and Transnistria. We guarantee packaging confidentiality. You can order delivery to Chisinau, Balti, Tiraspol, Cahul, Bender, Comrat, Ungheni and any other cities and villages.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Open the package and place the test cassette on a clean, flat surface facing up.
Choose a finger for puncture (usually the ring finger, on the side). Wipe the area with the alcohol pad and let it dry.
Use the lancet to prick the finger (as shown in the video link). Prick the finger near the pad.
Collect blood into the pipette. Tip: wipe away the very first drop, and do not squeeze the finger too hard.
Add 2-3 drops of blood into well A, then immediately add 2 drops of buffer (the clear liquid in the kit) into well B.
CHECKING RESULTS
The most accurate result appears 15 minutes after adding the blood to the wells. IMPORTANT: Do not interpret the result after 25 minutes. After this time, results are considered unreliable due to drying.
There are two zones on the test: Test (T) and Control (C).
Positive (+): TWO colored lines appear: one in the Control zone (C) and one in the Test zone (T). This indicates a positive result. Even a faint line in the T zone is considered a positive result.
Negative (-): One colored line appears only in the Control zone (C). No line appears in the Test zone (T). This indicates that the concentration of antibodies is zero or below the detection limit.
Invalid: No lines appear at all, or a line appears only in the Test zone (T) but is missing in the Control zone (C). This indicates an error in the testing procedure. Repeat the test with a new kit, strictly following the instructions.
MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
If a positive result appears, consult a doctor IMMEDIATELY. Remember — most infections are treatable in the early stages. If the test result is negative but clinical symptoms persist, additional testing using other clinical methods is recommended. A negative result does not exclude the possibility of a hidden infection (due to the seronegative window period).
