HIV 1/2 Rapid Test Kit (HIV 1/2)

The test cassette is used for the fast and anonymous detection of antibodies to Human Immunodeficiency Virus types 1 and 2 (HIV 1/2) in a whole blood sample. This is a reliable screening tool for home use, providing an accurate result in just 15 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Preparation: Open the package and place the test cassette on a clean, flat surface facing up.

Sample Collection: Choose a finger for puncture (usually the ring finger, on the side). Wipe the area with the alcohol pad and let it dry.

Puncture: Use the lancet to prick the finger near the pad.

Blood Collection: Collect blood into the pipette. Tip: It is advisable not to use the very first drop, and do not squeeze the finger too hard.

Reagent Application: Add 2-3 drops of blood into well A, then immediately add 2 drops of buffer (the clear liquid in the kit) into well B.

CHECKING RESULTS 

The most accurate result appears 15 minutes after adding the sample. IMPORTANT: Do not interpret the result after 25 minutes—results obtained later are considered unreliable (risk of false positives).

There are two zones on the test: Test (T) and Control (C).

Positive (+): TWO colored lines appear: one in the Control zone (C) and one in the Test zone (T). This indicates a positive result. Even a faint line in the T zone is considered positive.

Negative (-): One colored line appears only in the Control zone (C). No line appears in the Test zone (T). This indicates that the concentration of antibodies is below the detection limit.

Invalid: No lines appear at all, or a line appears only in the Test zone (T) but is missing in the Control zone (C). This indicates an error in the procedure. Repeat the test with a new kit, strictly following the instructions.

MEDICAL DISCLAIMER 

If a positive result appears, consult a doctor or a specialized center IMMEDIATELY for confirmation via a laboratory method. If the test result is negative but clinical symptoms persist, additional testing is recommended. A negative result does not exclude infection if a short period has passed since exposure (seronegative window period).
